Developing a natural solar product without a white cast seemed impossible. Other natural brands have been promising it for years, but when using it we were always disappointed. If you want to use a natural filter, you end up with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide. These work fine but leave a white haze on your skin. You can also use coated zinc, but that coating is made of silicone. That’s a big NO for us. We developed a vegetable coating (quite clever, we might add ;-)), which counteracts the white haze and is safe for our coral.
Oh so sensitive
Because all ingredients in the Screen Sun Screen are so mild and it contains zinc (which itself soothes the most restless baby bottoms), the Screen Sun Screen has a particularly calming effect on the skin. Over time, we have found out that women with, for example, rosacea or troubled skin notice that their skin becomes more beautiful and calmer as a result.
Shake it up!
Let’s talk about the substance. We are not a fan of emulsifiers (bad for your skin!) therefore the zinc in Screen Sun Screen sinks down into your bottle. Zinc sinks, that’s how you remember ;-). In order to mix the oil and the zinc, you will have to shake it really well each time you use it. Tip; think of the chorus of the song “Shake it up” by Taylor Swift as you hold the bottle tight. Starting the day with a dance is always a good idea, right?
Algjes & Blue light
Screen Sun Screen consists of more than just zinc and beautiful natural oils. We chose to add some algae as well. The algae are cultivated by the sea in France and have a protective effect against pollution. They protect your microbiome (natural skin flora) that can be damaged by (air) pollution and protect you against blue light.

Usage
Shake shake shake. You apply the Screen Sun Screen after your morning routine and let it soak in before putting on make-up. We recommend reapplying the Screen Sun Screen after two hours in the sun. However, if you are going to sunbathe, we advise you to use a sunblock. Avoid the sun during the hottest hours of the day (always good advice ;-)
